Mobile Device setup instructions

Please make sure to read through all instructions below. These instructions require action items to be performed on your computer. 

 

These instructions below are a two-step process. All devices (personal or corporate) will be required to download and install the Mobile Device Management app called Company Portal.  Once you have followed Step 1, you may proceed to Step 2 to download/install the Outlook App from the Company Portal Application.    

 

Step 1:   Enroll your mobile device into the Apex Mobile Device Management company portal. 

Note: All mobile devices that access Apex resources are required to enroll in Apex’s Mobile Device Management (Company Portal).

  1. We recommend watching the instructional video from your computer while performing the steps on your mobile device.
  2. Click on the video instructions based on your manufacturer:

Step 2:  Setup e-mail on mobile device. 

For E-mail on your phone, Apex recommends using the Outlook “App” from the Company Portal. 

 

1.       Open the Company Portal App.  (ex. icon below)

2.       Find Microsoft Outlook (look in recently published)

3.       Click Microsoft Outlook, then click Install.

4.       Please give the application time to download and install.

5.       Once Installed you can find the managed Outlook App listed with other applications on your phone.

6.       Open Outlook and sign in using your First.Last@ApexCos.com if requested. 

7.       Complete.
